Necron Vault Manager is developed by Necron Solutions. While the core application is not open source, there are several ways you can contribute to improving the product and its documentation.
Report Bugs
If you encounter a bug or unexpected behavior:
- Check the Troubleshooting page — your issue may have a known solution
- Gather details:
- Operating system version (e.g., Windows 11 23H2)
- Necron Vault Manager version (shown in Settings → About)
- Steps to reproduce the issue
- Any error messages or dialog text
- Whether you're using Free tier (software key) or Pro tier (hardware dongle)
- Contact support at support@necronsolutions.com
Tip
The more detail you provide, the faster we can diagnose and fix the issue. Screenshots of error dialogs are especially helpful.
Suggest Features
We welcome feature suggestions and ideas for improving Vault Manager. Send your suggestions to feedback@necronsolutions.com with:
- A clear description of the feature
- The problem it solves or the use case it supports
- How you'd expect it to work from a user's perspective
Improve Documentation
This documentation site is built from Markdown source files. If you find:
- Inaccurate information — outdated instructions, wrong feature descriptions
- Missing coverage — a feature or workflow that isn't documented
- Unclear writing — confusing explanations, missing context
- Typos or formatting issues

Security Vulnerabilities
If you discover a security vulnerability in Necron Vault Manager, do not report it through public channels. Instead:
- Email security@necronsolutions.com
- Include a detailed description of the vulnerability
- Provide steps to reproduce if possible
- We will acknowledge receipt within 48 hours and provide a timeline for resolution
Warning
Please practice responsible disclosure. Do not publicly discuss security vulnerabilities until they have been patched and a coordinated disclosure timeline has been agreed upon.
